Emmergrass (also known as "Emmer Grass") is a great alternative to wheat grass. It has a superior nutrition profile and many consider it more tasty than wheat grass. We recommend growing this seed to make emmergrass juice.
If you have a cat, grow the seed for "Cat Grass" - your felines will prefer it over your house plants. Growing this seed in a flower pot also makes for a fun kids project! Gardeners can use this seed for ornamental grass purpose (fall-plant at 2-inch spacing).
Emmergrass is sometimes referred to as "Emmer Wheat," although this is really a misnomer. Emmergrass is actually a precursor to wheat.
